Here is a little eye candy for your Friday! All of these bracelets are unusual and highly desirable or so sayeth me! Enjoy the weekend!
A beautiful Cartier gem and diamond bangle, circa early 1920s.
A wide bangle inlaid with lapis, jasper, onyx and mother-of-pearl by Angela Cummings for Tiffany & Co, circa 1980.
A gold and favrile glass scarab bangle by Montreal jewelers Primavesi & Kaufmann. There is a story here. The scarabs came from a necklace that was originally purchased from Tiffany & Co. around 1915. The daughter of the original owner inherited the necklace from her father in 1920. She had the scarabs removed from the original necklace and re-designed into a more fashionable necklace and bracelet suite by Primavesi & Kaufmann in the late 1950s. The Tiffany scarab jewelry is pretty rare. I sold a pair of Tiffany & Co. scarab earrings last year….they could have been yours! See below!
Tiffany & Co. sterling silver and favrile glass scarab earrings. They were gorgeous and went to a collector.
