Complementing the latest fashion looks are always the latest accessories. I would say jewelry is THE most important accessory but then that’s just me! Here are five jewelry trends that are very strong for spring/summer 2015.
Mix ‘N’ Match Earrings
The single earring trend (although I still really like that look) has given way to the unbalanced look. The pair can be off in color, asymmetrical in shape or length, small or large. It is all about the irregularity. Each ear (lobe) makes it’s own statement!

The Choker Lives
The choker is back in a big, big way. This look was all over the runways this season in several different interpretations. It is all about the tight embrace in heavy metals, colorful gems, and unusual materials.
Balmain, Versace, DYNK
Nothing makes a statement like a big ol’ cuff bracelet. There were lots of metal intense statement cuffs on the runways. The look pairs well with the minimalist inspired fashion of spring. Think lots of texture, finishes and volume.
The Family Jewels
Get out the family jewelry and borrow a look from Grandma. The delicate baubles of yesterday pay homage to our past and future. Antique jewelry is definitely cyclical and right now is hotter than ever. Open your jewelry box!Gucci, Oscar de la Renta, Dolce and Gabbana, GivenchyBottega VenetaAltuzarraPurposeful Pendants
This spring, it’s all about the long, dangling pendant necklace. The trend is all about being streamlined, with a long chain that hits at your midsection, culminating with a pendant that is either earthy, groovy, or architectural. It is a great look for work (because of it’s subtlety) or play, it can be a very casual look as well.
I named what I thought were five really strong trends. However, there are a couple of more that I will mention. The chain look is also huge this spring. The look runs from big and chunky choker style chains to smaller links. Feathers and fur are also making a big statement. The metal of the moment is GOLD. Richly hued gold done up bold and brash.
