The contemporary jewelry designer, Suzanne Syz is renowned for her highly original and unconventional designs which draw on many sources for inspiration. Born in Zurich and educated in Paris, she moved to New York City in the 1980s and became part of the circle of Andy Warhol, Jean Michel Basquiat, Julian Schnabel, Francesco Clemente and Jeff Koons.

Before there was Instagram there was Polaroid. From 1970 to 1987, Warhool took thousands of pictures with his plastic Polaroid Big Shot camera. Many of these images served as inspiration for his famous repetitive silkscreens. The polaroids revealed an important dimension of Warhol’s process in creating his famous large scale portraits. Although his polaroids served as aids for painting portraits, in and of themselves they are significant works and represent a relatively unknown body of Warhol’s work.
